Tychus Findlay is a prominent character in the StarCraft universe, first appearing in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty (2010). He is a gruff, heavily armored marine with a criminal past and a sardonic sense of humor.

Findlay is bound to Jim Raynor by a complicated history of friendship and betrayal. During the Mar Sara rebellion, both men fought together, building a deep bond. However, Tychus was later imprisoned, reappearing with a mysterious contract from Arcturus Mengsk.

Tychus's iconic feature is his bulky CMC armor, which houses a life-support system and, crucially, a neural link to Mengsk. This link ensures Tychus's compliance, threatening immediate termination if he disobeys Mengsk's orders.
